Our Massage Therapists
Sienna Soto, LMT
Originally from Virginia, Sienna moved to San Marcos in 2022 and graduated from Austin Massage Academy in early 2023. Her massage style is client-centered and intuitive, blending Swedish, deep tissue, stretching, and mobilization techniques. In 2024, she deepened her mind-body approach by completing yoga teacher training and is currently expanding her expertise in sports recovery and myofascial release.

Trisha Welch, LMT
Trisha’s path to massage was shaped by her own healing journey with chronic pain. She graduated from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in 2018 and has cultivated a compassionate, client-focused style rooted in Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and stretching. Trisha is also trained in prenatal massage and is expanding her skills in craniosacral therapy. Her goal is to ease pain patterns, reduce tension, and create a space for healing and transformation.
Liz Amaya, LMT
Liz Amaya attended the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in 2011 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University. She began her career on the founding team at Hiatus Spa + Retreat in downtown Austin and went on to spend 11 years refining her craft at AWAY Spa at the W Hotel. With over a decade of luxury spa experience, Liz creates customized, deeply restorative sessions designed to guide guests into that blissful space between sleep and wakefulness. Her background in psychology shapes her intuitive, client-centered approach, blending therapeutic precision with indulgent relaxation. Now based in San Marcos, Liz is honored to bring her expertise to Blooming Day Spa. She believes the most transformative bodywork happens when trust is established and the body is fully relaxed—allowing true healing to begin.

Maxfield Baker, LMT
Maxfield has been with Blooming Day Spa since becoming licensed in 2017, following his education at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. His background in anthropology and political science informs his thoughtful, client-educational approach. Known for relieving neck and back pain, Maxfield specializes in nervous system-focused bodywork to reduce stress and achieve lasting relief, tailoring each session with care and attention.
Becky Smith, LMT
Becky, founder of Blooming Day Spa, began her massage journey after traveling to Thailand and graduating from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in 2008. With a background in yoga and years of experience at Sink Creek Spa, she opened Blooming Day Spa to create a warm, nurturing space for healing. Known for her “intuitive massage,” Becky draws from a wide range of techniques and years of hands-on knowledge, delivering deeply personalized sessions informed by thousands of hours of practice and continuing education.

Tips & Information
We’re here to create a calm, comfortable experience from start to finish. Your comfort is always our top priority. If you have any questions or concerns before, during, or after your service, please let us know.
When your session begins, your therapist will step out of the room while you undress to your comfort level and get settled on the table under the sheet. For some guests, that means remaining partially clothed; for others, it means undressing completely. We use professional draping at all times and will always respect your preferences.
- Please silence or turn off your cellphone upon arrival to help maintain a peaceful environment.
- Gratuities are not included but are always appreciated. A typical range is 20–25% of the service price, or more for exceptional service.
- Drinking water before and after your massage can help reduce soreness and support recovery.
- We recommend leaving jewelry at home so it doesn’t interfere with your treatment.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Tardy Arrivals
If you’re running late, please contact your massage therapist as soon as possible at 512.843.1106.
We are located in downtown San Marcos with convenient street parking, so please allow time for parking when planning your visit. Late arrivals will result in a shortened session so that we can stay on schedule for all guests, and the full service fee will still apply. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late without notice may be automatically canceled, and the cancellation fee will be charged, as your therapist’s time is reserved specifically for you.
Booking & Cancellation
As a small, appointment-based spa, we require a credit card to reserve all bookings.
Payment at the time of your appointment may be made by cash, check, Venmo, or credit card. Please note that we do not keep cash on hand and are unable to make change, so we recommend bringing the exact amount for payment and gratuity if paying with cash. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
Massage Therapy for Minors
Massage therapy can be beneficial at any age, and we offer services for clients ages 15 and older.
All minors must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian, be accompanied by that parent or guardian, and have them remain on-site for the entire session.
Pamper yourself —
let’s set the date
This is your time to slow down, breathe, and be taken care of. Every visit is private, thoughtful, and centered entirely on you, so you can leave feeling truly refreshed, not just temporarily relaxed.
